Honoring Les Hall
2026 Suffolk First Citizen Award Recipient
Les Hall, founder and CEO of Allfirst, LLC, was named Suffolk’s 2026 First Citizen, recognizing a lifetime of leadership, generosity, and service to the community he proudly calls home.
Les began his career in mechanical and industrial contracting in 1984 and founded Allfirst in Suffolk in 2000. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a respected regional industrial general contractor serving Fortune 500 companies across industries including paper manufacturing, food production, chemical processing, oil terminals, and power generation. Throughout that growth, Les has remained committed to the principles that shaped the company from the beginning: integrity, hard work, strong relationships, and taking care of people.
For Les, however, success has never been measured solely by the projects completed or the company built. It is measured by the opportunities created for others.
A passionate advocate for workforce development and the next generation, Les has supported educational partnerships, job training programs, and apprenticeship opportunities that help young people build meaningful careers. He established the Allfirst Memorial Scholarship to assist local students pursuing higher education and vocational training, extending his belief that investing in people is one of the most important investments a community can make.

His commitment to service reaches throughout Suffolk and beyond. Les and Allfirst have been dedicated supporters of the Roc Solid Foundation, helping bring hope and joy to children and families facing pediatric cancer. He has also supported organizations including the Suffolk Art League and Suffolk Foundation, along with numerous initiatives that strengthen the economic, educational, and cultural life of the community.
Those who know Les describe him as dependable, visionary, generous, and humble. He rarely seeks recognition for what he gives or what he does. Instead, he leads quietly and consistently, whether helping a student pursue an education, creating opportunities for employees, supporting a local nonprofit, or lending his resources to a family in need.
Alongside his wife, Wanda, Les has made Suffolk not simply the home of his business, but the community in which he has chosen to invest his time, talent, and heart.
Being named Suffolk’s 2026 First Citizen honors far more than Les Hall’s professional accomplishments. It recognizes a philosophy he has demonstrated throughout his life: that true leadership is ultimately about service.
